Jaguar confusing rebrand gamble
Jaguar, the British luxury 🚗 car brand, is facing backlash over its new promotional video for a rebrand that emphasizes diversity but features no cars. The video, which showcases models in bright outfits against an unusual background, is part of a campaign set to launch on December 2 during Miami Art Week. Critics, including 🚀 Elon Musk, have questioned the brand's direction, with Musk asking, “Do you sell cars?”
The rebranding aims to transition Jaguar towards an 🔋 all-electric future with a new logo and marketing slogan "Copy Nothing." However, experts warn that abandoning the brand's heritage as a 🏎 high-performance sports car could even make traditional customers turn away.
